It is the mission of the Woodland R-IV School District to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to participate in an ever-changing society. This will be accomplished by ensuring that each child has access to appropriate and meaningful learning experiences to meet the demands of the 21st century. It is, therefore, the responsibility of the Woodland R-IV School District to provide an educational environment for children of the district which will foster and accelerate their moral, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and career development.
We encourage all parents and guardians to keep up-to-date with what's happening at school. There are several ways to do this:
Woodland R-IV School District utilizes School Reach. School Reach is a notification system for communication with parents. You will want to make sure all your contact information is updated at the beginning of each year through the packet sent home with each student. You can also check with the school office to verify if the correct information has been entered in the system.
Parents with an active email address and who have signed up in their child's school office have access to Parent Portal. Parent Portal allows students and parents to view the student's grades in their classes, keep up the student's attendance, and keep the student's lunch account up-to-date by maintaining a balance.
School closings will be announced on KFVS 12, and parents will be contacted through School Reach.
Make sure your contact information is in the school's contact list, in case of any emergencies.
You can learn how to get information from an application on your smart phone called School Reach. Click the school reach image below. For a list of school closings from KFVS click the image below.
