This is my ninth year as middle school counselor at Woodland. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University. I am also a certified Psychological Examiner. I am proud to be a Woodland Alumni! I have so many wonderful memories of my days as a student at Woodland including Volleyball State Champions, BETA Convention, Senior Trip, Pep Club, Homecoming Queen, Cheerleading, Essay Contests, etc. I began working at Woodland in 2000 as a fourth grade teacher. I then graduated from elementary and moved to middle school in 2004 as counselor. My goal is to help students succeed. I want middle school students to take advantage of everything teachers offer. I also encourage students to get involved in school activities. I try to see each child through classroom guidance, individual counseling, and small group counseling. I am married to Patrick and have two girls, Addie and Annie. I enjoy spending time with my family, decorating cakes, and scrapbooking. |
