increase recognition of synonyms Objective: The student will identify synonyms through an activity by correctly identifying the sentence that means the same with 100% accuracy. Show Me Standards: CA.1 Goal 2.2 Net Standards: 1, 2, Directions: The students will click on the following link to begin an activity that will allow them to gain practice of identifying synonyms as words that mean almost the same. The students will be asked to read a sentence then choose a sentence from the available answers that means almost the same. Each time the student clicks on an answer it will give them immediate feedback with a yes or no answer. If they get the answer correct, it will take them to the next question.
